Journal Notes Pt. 1

I like to challenge myself to spend time with God every day and to be consistent, one of the things I do is to journal after I read and pray. I journal out my thoughts, journal what scriptures stood out to me, journal my prayers, and journal what God is saying back to me. I’ve found this practice to be very helpful, and it strengthens my relationship with God because writing helps me to remember and to hide it in my heart.

For today’s post, I wanted to share just a couple of things that God has been saying to me that I thought were FIRE! These are things that I’ve been meditating on and they are my constant reminders.

Our lives are an example of the redemptive work of Christ and should at all times reflect as such.

It’s better to suffer for Christ’s sake than for living a life that blends in. Better to suffer like Christ than to avoid suffering and not be pleasing to God.

Having fellowship with God is important for assignment. You cannot know God’s heart or His will without knowing Him.

Promise is not absent of process.

Faith produces obedience, unwavering obedience.

It’s not the responsibility of the promise receiver to make the promise happen. It’s the duty of the promise-giver.

Which one of these is your favorite? How does it apply to your life right now?  Comment below or email me at brittany.c.harris@gmail.com. I really want to hear from you. Like I always say, let’s continue to grow together as we grow in Him.
